How much do I need to raise?
You’ll need to raise a minimum of £50.There’s a prize for the top fundraising individual and top fundraising team. You’ll find lots of tips here to make sure you hit your target!
Is there a minimum number of supervising adults needed?
We ask for every 5 children (under 16) taking part that there is 1 supervising adult taking part who can be responsible for the children taking part.
Can I park at the Cathedral?
Yes, you can park in the Cathedral Car Park. Parking is free for people involved in the Sleepout from 7pm Friday to 7am Saturday.
Will there be access to toilets and baby changing?
Yes, there are toilets on all floors and baby changing facilities in the accessible toilets.
Can I bring my toddler/baby?
Yes, the event is very child friendly. We understand you’ll want to accompany your participating child or children and you may need to bring siblings along with you. Under 3's can come along for free. You’ll need to register any children over 3's as participants.
Is there somewhere I can warm up my baby’s bottle?
Yes, you will be able to warm bottles and baby food in the café until the café closes at 10pm.
Are there accessible facilities from the car park to the Cathedral?
Yes, access to the main Cathedral floor is via a lift directly from the car park. There is also lift access to the differing levels on the ground floor and to the Lady Chapel, all suitable for wheelchair users and accessible toilets.
Is there somewhere I can get food and drinks?
The Café will be open until 10pm on Friday for light refreshments.
Am I allowed to take photographs inside the Cathedral?
Yes, you may, at any time. Please be mindful to only take photos of people who have given you permission and also if you intend to share photographs on social media, please ensure you have permission from the people in the photo. There will also be an official photographer, so please let us if you or the child(ren) with you don't wish to be photographed.
Is it easy to find you?
We are about a thirty minute walk from most central Liverpool locations including Lime Street and Central railway stations and our main bus terminals.
Bus Routes 82 and 86 stop nearby.
Do you have a risk assessment?
Yes, we have a risk assessment for the Cathedral, and the Tower - email us and we will send them to you. All groups are responsible for the supervision of their own children.
