Fundraising time!

Fundraising is lots of fun! We’ve got lots of tips, ideas and materials on this page to help you hit your target of £50 each.

Steps to reaching your target

  • Set up your fundraising page here
Include a photo, set a fundraising target and tell people what you are doing, why and what it would mean to you to get their support.

  • Ask friends and family
Send your sponsorship page to all of your friends and family and get them to share it on social media with #cathedralsleepout

  • Go the extra mile
Ask your school if you could do some fundraising there, you could do a bake sale or dress down day. Ask your parent or guardian if they could do something in work too! We’ve got loads of ideas here. Download our Fundraising Tips sheet!

  • Collect your spare change
There’s always bits of change under the sofa or in coat pockets. Download a collection box and pop it in there!

  • Collect sponsorship offline
Download a sponsor form to print out and give to your friends and family.

Do you think you could raise the most money?

You can also take part in the challenge to be the individual fundraiser who raises the most and/or the group who raises the most money. All you have to do is keep the sponsorship rolling in. Deadline for paying in money will be Friday 5th May. The winners will be announced on Tuesday 9th May. There will be a fab prize for the winners!

Paying in the money you've raised

When you've finished the  Liverpool Cathedral Sleepout, you will need to collect all your sponsorship and pay in the money you've raised. You can do this:

  • via your Give as you Live donate Giving page

  • via The Whitechapel Centre website: www.whitechapelcentre.co.uk/donate

  • by writing a cheque to 'The Whitechapel Centre' and posting to The Whitechapel Centre, Langsdale St, L3 8DT.

All the money you raise will be split 50/50 between the two charities to help people in Liverpool.
